Modern genuine plastic float, manufactured by Weber. This float is the updated factory replacement for the older classic brass float (Part no. 41015,011).
The float's primary function is critical for the carburetor to operate optimally, as it regulates the fuel level in the float chamber. The major advantage of upgrading to this plastic float is that it completely eliminates the risks associated with aging brass floats, such as fatigue cracks or corrosion that allow the float to take in fuel, sink, and cause the carburetor to flood.
