Malpassi "Rising High Rate" Fuel Pressure Regulator
An authentic "Rising High Rate" Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) from Malpassi in Italy, specifically developed for high-performance injection engines. Each unit is assembled by hand and tested to guarantee maximum precision and reliability.
Manufactured from a special cast alloy and designed to provide a highly progressive pressure increase. This regulator is the perfect choice for seriously tuned engines with turbo/superchargers and for ethanol conversions (E85 compatible).
Function & Application
This model raises the fuel pressure at a 1:2.5 ratio relative to the boost pressure in the intake manifold. This ensures the engine receives an adequate supply of fuel under high power conditions, preventing lean running and the risk of severe engine damage. It is designed to provide constant and stable fuel pressure under any load, from idle to full throttle. It is suitable for engines developing up to and beyond 600 hp.
