Malpassi Filter King pressure regulator with aluminum bowl – ideal for carbureted engines.

ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE

Fuel pressure is adjusted from the top. Remove the dome nut and loosen the locknut. Turning the screw clockwise compresses the spring and increases fuel pressure. Turning counterclockwise decreases it.

All FK1–FK7 models use the same pressure spring: TF67.

The FK5 is pre-set to deliver 0.20 BAR (2.85 PSI), but since different fuel pumps generate different pressures depending on vehicle model, adjustment is necessary.

We recommend installing our fuel pressure gauge (Part No. 305.1) directly on the regulator for proper calibration. The engine must be running during adjustment.

MISAB’s Filter King from Malpassi includes a 1/8" NPT port for attaching a fuel pressure gauge (e.g., 301.1). If unused, the port can be sealed with the included brass plug (Part No. 3.226). Use thread seal tape, Loctite, or similar for proper sealing.
