The Facet Red Top is a legendary and extremely reliable electric fuel pump, engineered for high-performance carbureted engines, motorsport, rally, and tuned street cars. This universal "Cube" pump utilizes advanced solid-state electronics (completely without contact breaker points), guaranteeing exceptionally long life and unbeatable reliability.
The pump is self-priming and self-regulating, and comes equipped with a replaceable 74-micron filter and a built-in magnet that effectively captures harmful metal particles from the fuel. It is fully compatible with both gasoline and ethanol (E10/E85) and features a corrosion-resistant design that has been tested for over 100 hours in salt spray.

Important note: Delivering a pressure of up to 0.55 Bar, this pump is too powerful to be connected directly to your carburetor. To protect the carburetor's needle valve and prevent flooding, a pressure regulator must be used. We highly recommend using a Malpassi pressure regulator (such as the Filter King) to reduce the pressure to a maximum of 0.25 Bar, which is standard for Weber, Dellorto, and SU carburetors. Mount the pump vertically with the outlet facing upwards, as close to the fuel tank as possible. Connection nipples (1/4" NPT) are not included and must be ordered separately depending on your fuel hose diameter.
