The Malpassi FKT2 is a high-quality, Italian-made pressure regulator (converter) designed specifically for engines with dual carburetors that are supercharged or turbocharged. When running boost on a carbureted engine, the fuel pressure must rise linearly with the boost pressure so the carburetor can overcome the positive pressure in the intake manifold. This regulator solves that problem by providing a 1:1 fuel pressure rise based on the boost reference it receives.
The FKT2 effectively converts a high feed pressure (e.g., from an EFI fuel pump) down to a suitable base pressure for carburetors, and then seamlessly raises it in tandem with the boost. It is also equipped with dual 8 mm outlets for direct feeding to twin carburetors, along with a return line port back to the fuel tank.

Important note: The regulator can also be used on naturally aspirated engines with twin carburetors that require high fuel flow. To use it as a standard regulator without forced induction, simply leave the boost reference port open (unused).
