Malpassi Filter King pressure regulator with glass bowl – ideal for carbureted engines.

ADJUSTABLE FUEL PRESSURE

Fuel pressure is adjustable from the top. Remove the dome nut and loosen the locknut. Turning the screw clockwise compresses the spring and increases fuel pressure. All FK1–FK7 models use the same pressure spring: TF67.

The FK2 is factory-set to deliver 0.16 BAR (2.20 PSI). However, since different fuel pumps provide different pressures, adjustment is required during installation.

This is most easily done by mounting our fuel pressure gauge (Part No. 305.1) directly on the regulator. The engine must be running during adjustment.

Filter King by Malpassi includes a 1/8" NPT port for mounting a fuel pressure gauge (e.g., 305.1). If unused, seal the port with the included brass plug (Part No. 3.226). Use thread tape, Loctite, or similar sealant for proper sealing.
