The Facet Silver Top is an industry-leading, extremely reliable electric fuel pump designed specifically for heavy-duty 24-volt electrical systems. It utilizes advanced solid-state electronics, meaning there are no internal mechanical breaker points to cause wear or electrical sparking. The pump features a conveniently replaceable 74-micron internal fuel filter alongside an integrated base magnet that effectively traps microscopic metal particles before they can enter and damage your delicate carburetor jets.
This fuel pump is completely self-priming and self-regulating. It is also highly corrosion-resistant (rated to withstand over 100 hours in a salt spray environment), making it ideal for harsh marine or commercial conditions. To ensure optimal lifespan and maximum fuel delivery, we highly recommend mounting the pump vertically (with the outlet port facing straight upwards) and positioning it as close to the fuel tank as possible.

Workshop tip: If you are pairing this fuel pump with a traditional carburetor setup, we strongly recommend installing an inline fuel pressure regulator (such as the Malpassi Filter King). Most carburetors (like Weber downdrafts) are designed to handle a maximum fuel pressure of around 0.25 Bar (3.6 PSI), meaning the raw output pressure of this pump may need to be slightly reduced to prevent the needle valve from being overpowered, which would cause the float bowl to flood.
