This robust brass elbow fitting is an essential component when building custom fuel systems, installing electric fuel pumps, or connecting carburetors in tight engine bays. With its 90-degree angle, it saves valuable space and significantly reduces the risk of the fuel hose kinking and starving the engine of fuel.

The fitting features a tapered 1/8" NPT (National Pipe Taper) male thread that provides an excellent seal when tightened. The opposite end is a barbed hose connection designed for standard fuel hoses with an 8 mm inner diameter. It is highly suitable for installing aftermarket electric fuel pumps, such as the popular Facet Silver Top (model 476087) and similar units.

Workshop tip: NPT threads are primarily self-sealing due to their specific tapered design, but we still highly recommend using a liquid thread sealant upon installation (avoid PTFE tape, as tiny fragments can break off and clog your carburetor jets) to guarantee a completely leak-free connection. Always secure the fuel hose with a high-quality hose clamp.
