This small but absolutely critical throttle screw is a high-quality genuine replacement part for a multitude of classic Weber carburetors. The screw's sole function is to securely fasten the throttle butterfly valve plate to the main throttle shaft. Because the throttle shaft and its components are continuously subjected to engine vibration and high-velocity airflow, it is vital that these screws are of the exact correct dimension and installed properly to prevent them from vibrating loose.

Workshop tip: When replacing throttle plate screws during a rebuild, you must be extremely careful to "peen" (stake) the exposed threads or use a high-strength, heat-resistant thread locker (such as red Loctite) on the back side of the throttle shaft after tightening. If a throttle screw vibrates loose during operation, it will inevitably be sucked straight into the engine cylinder, causing catastrophic and immediate internal engine damage.
