CARBURETOR KIT VOLVO B18, B20

Upgrade your B18/B20 engine with our complete Weber 32/36 DGV kit (manual choke). Perfect for boats, cars, or other applications using Volvo’s classic OHV engines. You get a modern carburetor with better throttle response, easier tuning, and higher reliability compared to a worn-out original carburetor.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE KIT

• Weber 32/36 DGV carburetor (manual choke)

• Jets for base tuning (adjusted according to engine type – specify e.g. AQ115 or B20)

• Intake manifold

• Air filter

• Fuel filter

• 1 meter of fuel hose

• Mounting accessories: studs, nuts, hose clamps, and base gasket

• Installation instructions

Tip! We recommend adding an intake manifold gasket (sold separately).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Optional accessories and modifications

Depending on your setup, you may need additional parts or modifications. For example, some Volvo Penta AQ models (boat use) require a spacer on the lower mounting studs. This spacer is not included in the kit.

• Jetting according to your specifications

When ordering, please specify your engine type (e.g., AQ115 or car B20) in an email and reference your order number, and we will jet the carburetor accordingly. If no engine is specified, we will provide standard jetting for B20.

• Professional installation recommended

In some vehicles, installation complexity may require professional assistance. Contact MISAB before purchase if you're uncertain.

IMPORTANT NOTES (ESPECIALLY FOR B20)

• The original exhaust and intake are cast together. You keep the exhaust but cut off the intake (using a cut-off wheel or saw) and rework it as needed. Ensure the new intake fits without interference.

• Spacer requirement for boats (AQ 105, AQ 110, AQ 115, AQ 130)

Two spacers (approx. 49 mm length, 9 mm inner diameter, 20 mm outer diameter) are often required on the lower studs to ensure proper sealing. These are not included in the kit.

LINKAGE

• The carburetor fits original linkage on vehicles previously equipped with:

• Zenith/Stromberg CD175

• SU HS6

• HIF6

• If your engine had a different carburetor type, e.g., Zenith 36VN (B18 engine), you will need the 900060 linkage kit.

BRAKE BOOSTER

• For boat installations, a 1/4” plug is included to seal the vacuum port.

• Need a brake booster connection (e.g., for car use)? The port is 1/4”, but the brake booster fitting is not included in the standard package.
