A compact mesh air filter specifically designed for carburetor trumpets (air horns). This filter is an excellent solution for tight installations where traditional air filter boxes won't fit, or simply for protecting your engine stylishly when running open trumpets without sacrificing airflow.
The filter features a dual-layer stainless steel mesh with an intermediate layer of fine polyester. This innovative construction effectively captures harmful particles without noticeably restricting the intake air.
Features & Maintenance:
- Construction: Stainless steel mesh with a polyester insert.
- Maintenance: "Dry-filter" – do not oil. Easy to clean when necessary.
- Mounting: Snap-on design, pushes directly onto the trumpet flare.

- Fitment (Trumpet outer lip): 61-64 mm (e.g., 63 mm lip)
- Inner diameter (Mounting): Approx. 60 mm (flexible for 61-64 mm)
- Outer diameter (Total): 85 mm
- Added Height: Builds approx. 20 mm above the trumpet
Compatible with the following carburetors/trumpets:
- Weber 45 DCOE (Models 152, 152G, 9 etc. with 63 mm lip)
- Weber 44 IDF and 48 IDF
- Dellorto 45 DHLA and 48 DHLA (verify lip diameter before ordering)
- Other carburetor trumpets with an outer diameter of approximately 63 mm
