The Facet Silver Top is a classic and incredibly reliable electric fuel pump, designed specifically for carbureted engines, fast road cars, and clubman motorsport. This universal "Cube" pump is driven by advanced solid-state electronics (fully sealed with no contact breaker points to wear out), resulting in a very long service life and top-tier reliability.
The pump is self-priming and self-regulating. It is equipped with a replaceable 74-micron filter and a built-in magnet in the base that effectively gathers harmful metal particles from the fuel before they can reach the carburetor. The casing is highly corrosion-resistant (tested for over 100 hours in salt spray), and the pump is fully compatible with both gasoline and modern fuels such as Ethanol (E10/E85).

Important note: Even though the Silver Top delivers a lower pressure than the Red Top model, MISAB always recommends installing a fuel pressure regulator (such as the Malpassi Filter King FK5) between the pump and the carburetor. The recommended fuel pressure for most carburetors (Weber, Dellorto, SU, etc.) is a maximum of 0.25 Bar. For optimal performance and longevity, the pump should be mounted vertically with the outlet facing upwards, and placed as close to the fuel tank as possible. Connection nipples (1/8" NPT) are not included and must be purchased separately based on your fuel hose diameter.
