This high-quality gasket set is designed to breathe new life into the classic British Zenith 24T-2 carburetor. This extremely reliable and straightforward carburetor model is highly prevalent on a wide variety of vintage tractors, stationary engines, and industrial machinery dating back to the mid-20th century.
When disassembling an old carburetor for ultrasonic cleaning or routine servicing, the old, dried-out gaskets almost always break or tear. Reusing them inevitably leads to frustrating fuel leaks or vacuum leaks, resulting in an erratic and unreliable running engine. This kit contains every gasket required to properly seal one (1) carburetor and restore factory performance.
Common applications for the Zenith 24T-2:
- Massey Ferguson (various vintage tractor models)
- BM Volvo (early petrol-powered tractors)
- Villiers and FM industrial engines
Workshop tip: During a complete carburetor overhaul, we strongly recommend checking and replacing the needle valve if it shows signs of wear. The Zenith 24T-2 typically utilizes a size 2.0 needle valve. Please note that the needle valve is sold separately and is not included in this basic gasket set.
