The needle valve is often referred to as the "heart" of the carburetor, and its job is absolutely crucial: keeping the fuel level in the float chamber entirely constant. Over time, the tip of the needle valve wears down and becomes uneven, preventing the carburetor from sealing properly. This leads to flooding and an unstable fuel mixture. By replacing an old valve with a new one, you ensure your engine runs smoothly, reliably, and more economically.

Important note: For the needle valve to function optimally and maintain a tight seal, the fuel pressure supplied to the carburetor must not be too high (a maximum of 0.25 Bar is generally recommended). If you experience flooding issues, a fuel pressure gauge and a pressure regulator can help you troubleshoot and cure the problem. We highly recommend completing your order with a new copper sealing washer for installation (Part No: B19000).
