This is a robust and highly customizable throttle linkage kit, primarily developed to solve linkage geometry when converting classic Volvo B18 and B20 engines to modern twin-barrel carburetors. The kit is the ideal companion for aftermarket intake manifolds and works flawlessly with popular downdraft carburetors such as the Weber DCD, DGV, DGAS, and equivalent FAJS models.
The included linkage rod and versatile mounting hardware provide maximum control and extensive adjustability, ensuring you can dial in a smooth, precise, and full-travel throttle response. Because the system is built from standardized, high-quality components, it also serves as an excellent foundation for custom linkage builds on completely different engines and intake setups.
The kit includes the following components:
- Main linkage rod (Length: 44 cm, Diameter: 8 mm / 5/16")
- Ball joints and carburetor linkage arms
- Cable trunnions and sturdy cable mounting brackets
- Assorted linkage hardware for perfect alignment
Installation tip: For an even more secure connection to the car's original accelerator pedal, we recommend adding an extended linkage arm to improve the leverage ratio. The main 44 cm linkage rod can easily be cut down to your exact required length with a hacksaw during installation.
